Alternator not charging but light goes out.

I have a 2009 DB9 which had a new battery installed when I purchased it from private seller. Had alternator checked and ok, also removed the 3 pin plug and with engine running alternator charging at 13.75 volts but just battery voltage with plug fitted. Have checked "Altmon" to ECU B socket and all Ok. Bat sense pin has battery voltage, I-line (dim) pin was open circuit but with jump wire shows voltage with ignition on so relay 10 in engine bay fuse box working and inline resister reading 560 Ohms. Could this open circuit have damaged the regulator.
The early DB9"s appear to have a 150-amp unit with mine a 200-amp going by part number.
Do I need to get the car told it has had a battery replaced?
