Bye RS4 and hello R8 V10 :)

My dealer confirmed my slot yesterday for the V10. Too bad Audi will not cough up the official release date, so for now I will be counting on mid October 2008!
So if anyone out there is looking for a mint, mint BlK/BLK RS4 with a few miles let me know in a few months and we can work something out!

Unless of course I keep it for the winters which there is a good chance of

Because of the NEW engine program for the R8 V-10 (not using the Lambo V-10) that Audi is building, you won't see the V-10 R8 until mid to late 2009, and that word is official!

When the V10 arrives, what will that do to the resale value of V8s?

Ummm I hope the V10 is not going to be out for a while. my V8 is expected to arrive in March but I can't possibly wait for the V10, not with my remaining contract term here.

I read from various magazines (EVO,Car etc.) that Audi postponed the release of the V10 model because of the unexpected demand for the current V8 model ! Could be rumors but it makes sense actually...

the lambo v10 for some reason overheat and the R8 goes up in flame. Not sure if I've got the story mixed up though.
