Hey guys,

I'm stuck in Bangkok for a few days and went to Siam Paragon, a big mall here in town. In the Auto Gallery on the 4th floor, MTM Thailand actually had a showroom. They had this car and a Spyker in there. Please forgive picture quality. All taken with my iPhone.








The Spyker is weird in pics, but had some coolness to it in person.



Still, it's just trying too hard. Look at this weird stuff...

Air vent with crazy mesh on the roof.


Gas filler cap INSIDE an intake vent. Does that defeat some of the purpose of the vent? It's just weird... and blatant.

 

Both cars a great. I think they also have sky prices, right?

 

Yeah. The girl behind the desk was too busy on the phone, but I saw a sheet that said that the Spyker was $1.3M US. Nothing was available for me to find on the S5. I asked someone looking at it if it was supercharged, which I assume it is, but no English. What's crazy is that the same sheet stated that the Spyker ran 0-60 in 5.9. YUCK.

Totally. I just saw them again. Girl was on the phone laughing again. No questions asked. But hey, joy is a good thing becoming rarer by the moment!

 

THAT S5 is hot, the spyker blows.

The S5 has more class IMO.

 

Those cars are being imported by MTM Thailand or the family that imports VAG cars. Two words....they suck! Pretty much the VAG car rep here in Thailand has gone down compared to anywhere in the US.

The S5 has way more presence in my opinion. Having them side by side in 'garage format', I know what I'd put the miles on, for sure.
