C2S to R8???
#61
Missed this thread until now but I figured I would throw in my .02.
I have driven the 997S, R8 4.2, and R8 5.2, all on numerous occasions.
I don't like the comparison because we arent talking C4S but still, I found the Audi to be a better overall sports car. I really liked the 4.2 6MT but the R-Tronic didn't impress me. Reminds me of an old BMW SMG tranny (if I could even say that)
The V10's I've driven have been both 6MT and R-Tronic and I'm impressed with both. With the V10 RT, you shift and the car seems to already be pushing forward before you can even blink. Very powerful motor all across the board. Either way, I would choose the Audi over the Pcar. Not because I think it's "better", but because I think the proper Pcar comparo is a 997TT.

Coming from a 997TT to an R8 I can say there isn't much of a comparison.
R8 hands down.
And that's after tracking my p-car for two years and putting over 65k miles on it.
The Audi is just about as close to perfection and functional as you can get.
