r8 V10 + bike rack? v

I'm considering selling my TT RS and getting another daily driver. I will be keeping the V12 Vantage as my summer ride etc.

Two possibilities are an Audi R8 V10. In my city you can run them all year, my best friend runs his and I have been in it. It's also a great car for the odd track day.

BUT... Can I put my mountain bike on it? The TT RS swallows it up no problem. I'm guessing there must be a system, but I have not found it. My bike is a very light carbon model.

I would love to make the R8 work.

The other option would be a Bentley Supersports. Its like a GIANT TT RS. It would be a great DD car. I'm sure you could get a rack for it.

BUT, that would mean I would have to track the Aston.

Put the bike rack on the Aston, the R8 is too good looking to mess it up with a bike rack. Better yet put the rack on the RR.

er for wife and kids

Yeah, the Range Rover is for the family. The Audi has to be the super useful everyday car.

I realize I'm pushing the limits of everyday, but...

Check these guys out- http://www.seasucker.com/shop/1187/

I've heard some good things about the product and have seen many Elise's using them for bikes and surfboards.

So Aston is straight up butt ugly and deserves a bike rack on top?

@Will/AWE, thanks. That is the solution!!!!!

I'm going to pick up the fex window unit for my phone too.

@Enilder, I agree. The Aston is my baby. It's been bombproof and perfect in everyway. The Aston is a very good Daily Driver, but the R8 has been created to BE a daily driver. It's far more civil than the V12 Vantage. It's far quieter and it draws less attention, plus it lacks the low carbon splitter and diffuser the Aston has.

No problem! Just be sure to post pictures if you pull the trigger on the setup. I'd love to see a MTB on top of an R8, just as long as its a 26er.

I would do the same. If anything, R8 will get a bike rack.

Not a bike rack but this came to my mind. I think it will be perfectly find in terms of aesthetics (if you care). To me, an R8 is an R8.
