SHOT IN THE DARK - CAR TRANSPORT VA to TX this weekend

Recognize this is an absolute shot in the dark but it doesn't hurt to ask. I've got an '03 F360 Modena sitting in VA aching to get home to Dallas. For reasons beyond his control, Gary Almond had to cancel his pickup of my car today so I'm looking to see if anybody knows anybody/anything about a truck or open trailer heading in that direction .... VA to TX this weekend.

$100 for any leads that pan out.

Thanks as Always

Call John Ray (940)206-3020 and tell him you are a budy of mine and he will hook you up. He's out of Denton. He runs 11 or 13 trucks all enclosed.

Thanks

Is that offer open to anyone? I'm buying an Elise soon and am starting to shop around for good enclosed carriers. I don't trust DAS with sports car.

FWIW, my best quote for enclosed shipping came from Fed Ex Passport. They undercut Intercity with about $500. ($2100, TX to ME/Canada border).

Do you have any info on FedEx passport? I actually work for FedEx in sales but didn't know we did car shipping. I get about 75%

no...the guy put it on the back of a flatbed truck. It was the only car on the trailer though?!? I could do enclosed for about $1000. It just didnt seem worth the extra ched.

I was real pleased though. Cant beat the price?

for what it's worth we used DAS on our new a3 (not a porsche or ferrari by any means) but they moved it without a single issue and it was in our hands 4 days before the expected date -- they were several new M6's being delivered by them while I was there too.

I've also used DAS for numerous cars w/o any issues. 99% time they are the best price around because of the port to port transporting.

Uship is also great, but I've never shipped any high end cars that way.
