I'm looking to purchase an Ultima GTR for auto-x and tracking this coming summer. I'm flexible on year, miles, colors, and engine configs. I don't want to build one myself, so I'm looking for a completed (or at least mostly completed) car. These things seem ridiculously difficult to locate...I'm not aware of any Ultimas for sale right now. And here I thought finding a Noble was bad...

Any leads or suggestions would be most appreciated...thanks in advance!

Wow, great choice . I do believe there is a shop that builds these in the NY/NJ area if you don't feel like building it yourself. What is your budget? I do believe you pay a premium if you don't build it yourself. Also, what is your time frame on buying one? I can do some looking around and try to find one for you. I am familiar with some guys who own or have owned an Ultima.

I just went to their web site to see how much a turn key car cost. I could only find the part list and the list totally 16K pounds. That cannot possibly be right?

How much do one of these amazing cars cost in completed (turn key) form?

I would got with a Radical SR3 instead, it will run circles around Ultima on track, especially in auto-x.

No F/S ad. Word of mouth.

Ultima is a street-legal car. Radical is not. Also, depends on track and drivetrain choice for Ultima.
