I have $28,XXX of performance modifications into this truck not including the labor. Truck dynoed at 560AWHP and 580WTQ. On paper it should run high 10's in the 1/4 mile, but I haven't had time to take it to the track.

The 7.2L engine was installed at 18,xxx miles in Jan of 2011. The new engine has about 3,000 - 4,000 miles on it. There is a 3 year/36,000 WARRANTY on the new engine! And also an extended warranty on the whole vehicle which can be transferred to the new owner! All work including oil changes at the required 3,000 miles have been done by AJ & Jim at The Hemi Shop. These guys are the best in the business.

Let me get this straight. You spent $28,000 making this truck faster, but you "have not had time" to take it to the track?

 

I work 6-7 days a week and when I am not working I am either road racing, doing DE/HPDE, or AutoX with my 911. The straight line stuff just doesn't do it for me.

so just to confirm you are saying the new engine and the whole jeep is covered under warranty? So im guessing this 7.2 HEMI was purchased through jeep/dodge?

Does your jeep have Navigation? What are your thoughts about this being an every day driver? Obviously you have the warranty but as far as sound is it extremely loud with just regular driving at normal speeds?
