For sale is a 2003 996TT Race Car. This car is still has bought new by the current owner and built to this level. Car is a converted street car and has been an exclusive track car for the past 3 seasons. The car has been meticulously maintained and upgraded along the way. Car is 2wd putting out 875HP at the motor (using 1.2 BAR boost max). Car runs GT1 Porsche Club racing. Numerous wins in series. Car has only had minor body repairs (front fenders). Nothing ever more serious. If you are looking to blow by 997 Cupcars on the straights, and stay ahead of them in the turns, then this may be for you. Some of the modifications:

New GT2 motor from Porsche (4 years) with K24 hybrid turbos
LWFW with Cup balancer and belt setup from RSR
Penske 3-way adjustable shocks (1600/1400 springs, 3 months old)

875 at flywheel? That means 800 whp. Dyno? I don't see the mods necessary to make that kind of power.

Nonetheless, that is more than I could handle on a track. In any event this car is definitely turnkey ready for a good driver to compete at a high level.

I wish I had the financial resources to pick it up, GLWS.

 

Is this Tom Kerr's car or do you own it? Either way, pretty sure the numbers are accurate.

Tom, over the years I've watched the metamorphosis of this car and the love and care you've painstakingly taken to get it where it's at. Sad to see it go, but with a Cup car in your future, I look forward to you posting about it including some vids! Good luck on the sale, everything has been done top notch! Guys, this car is no joke... Tom doesn't come here much, but the car has been campained throughout the southeast and up the mid-atlantic. This car is the real deal, and was developed to be the car every DE 996TT owner wanted their car to be... Lap times are probably sub 2.00 on VIR full. They'd have to be in this car, knowing what Mine, Matt's GT2 and others were turning.
