WTB: Fast 4 door daily driver <$40k in SoCal

Year: 2009
Make: Subaru
Model: Impreza WRX STi
Price: $1
Mileage: 1
Color: blue
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): CA
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive

Have been thinking about buying an STi (mid 20's) but am open to other cars and would pay up to $40k. Has to be 4 door because of my kid, has to be fun, and has to be a good deal. Those are my three requirements. Also prefer it be in SoCal and not be too old, probably not older than 2009 model year.

Anyone have something they've been considering selling but just didn't want to deal with the hassle? I'm a cash buyer and can do the deal today for the right car.

Let me know what you've got! Email me at stevehallock@gmail.com

Why not just buy a new '15 STI? Your should be able to readily order one at invoice with all the electronic stereo/nav/keyless options for around $35k. I've purchased a couple of new STIs previously (an '04 and '08), and the depreciation has always been fairly minimal. I'll be ordering a '15 myself if I'm not able to find a GTR as a winter car.

Here is Socal dealers are not budging much on prices. I tried to buy a Launch Edition but the best I could get was MSRP (most trying to get 5-10k over sticker!). I'm buying an '09 today and hoping they release a 2016 hatchback
