My friend just got a 996 TT and wants to sell his Techart Replica full front bumper. Its painted Meridian Silver. It fits like the real one does. This bumper can fit the 996 Twin Turbo as well as the C4S. It has the plastic grill on the top. The fiberglass construction is top notch and very high grade. I was impressed it was a fake. It has minor blemishes and some scractches on the bottom of the bumper. Take a look for yourself. He is selling because he decided to get the real full Techart body kit.

How does this piece differ from the real thing? Do they look identical?

I assume there are some significant differences otherwise your friend would not sell to get the real Techart kit.

Could this be made to fit a 2002 C2?

 

If you have the face lift lights on your 2002 C2 yes they will fit if not they will not fit.

 

In my honest opinion its not worth the extra $2000 for the real thing. The minor improvements on the real thing is not enough to justify the extra cost, but some people just want the real thing. Basically he got a really good deal on the entire kit since my friend is an authorized techart dealer and he opted for the entire kit instead of just the replica front.

I have been in the body kit business for about 4 years and have seen a lot of bad and good products. This one is on the excellent side of the spectrum. The differences between the Techart replica and authentic are the carbon splitters in the openings and the material is slightly better. On a scale I would rate this a 8.5 and the real techart a 10.

Is the real TechArt bumper made of fiber glass? Usually genuine tuner's bumper are not made of fiber glass.
