FS: 2002 "Seal Gray" Cabriolet -TipTronic, Nav, +more...

2002 Porsche 911 Carrera – Cabriolet/Convertible

I need to make room for a new family member, so I'm going back to practicality (for now). This Carrera is SEAL GRAY METALLIC with BLACK Full-Leather interior. Only 21.5K miles with an original MSRP of over $99K! Remaining FACTORY WARRANTY still in affect! It has been fully serviced and is in excellent condition throughout.

It also comes with the factory Porsche HARDTOP. PLUS! I’m also throwing in a BRAND NEW xtra set of OEM Black FloorMats, an OEM Tequipment Silver Car Cover w/Bag(barely used), and a FREE CarFax Report! Asking $62,800. Not sure where to start, but I think it's a pretty fair price for the whole package, let me know what you guys think. All reasonable offers will be considered.

Some manufacture's options (other than 'standards') ---

5-Speed TipTronic Transmission
Porsche DVD Navigation System
PSM (Porsche Stability Management)
Bi-Xenon Headlights w/Washer System
Dual Power & Heated Seats
Bose Hi Fi Stereo System
6-disc CD Multi-Changer
Porsche Supple Leather Seats
3-Spoke Leather Steering Wheel
Windscreen
Chrome Exhaust Tips

Some upgrades that I’ve done ---

19"inch MK Dynamic 3-PIECE wheels with Continental ContiSport-2 (235/35/19) Porsche (N0) rated tire for fronts and Continental ContiSport-2 (295/30/19) rears. Only 3k miles on the tires.
Turbo-look front conversion---
-OEM Porsche C4S front bumper
-OEM Porsche Turbo front lip
-OEM Porsche GT3 (AeroKit II) Side Skirts Kit
Painted Center Console
RUF-like Aluminum Pedal Set
Aluminum gauge bezels
Porsche Silver Hood Crest (have originals)
Tinted Windows
Clear/Smoke Side Markers with SilverVision & BluVision Bulbs all around

Should you have any questions or for a viewing, feel free to contact me directly, Tim (714)357-1774 or email tmy727@pho2000.com . This is a needs nothing Porsche! Just in time for Spring/Summer!!!

F.Pilot - I think those Magnums are great looking... but right now, I think I'm leaning more towards more of a family car/van for the (coming) baby. Thanks for your interest!

You may get more money returning the car to stock and selling the parts separately. But, that's more hassle and you may not have all the factory parts anymore.

I honestly think $60k would help to motivate a buyer. The tiptronic is probly holding you back a little too. Try listing elsewhere like ebay and cars.com too as you'll reach a more general audience.

I have several potential buyers interested in my car, but stated that they are having a hard time shopping for an extended warranty. Porsche dealerships stated to them that there may be problems with the computer, transmission, etc., from 19 inch wheels. I don't have the exact offsets, etc. from the wheels, but the tires are all Continental SportsContact 2 with 235/35/19 (fronts) and 295/30/19 (rears). Wheels here: http://www.wheelenhancement.com/index.php?t=WheelDetail&id=88
"The head of service for Porsche in Palm Desert said it becomes a problem from his experience. The car has been driven too many miles with the incorrect wheels. He stated all kinds of extras are sold for various cars which have not been approved from the manufacture."

Anyone with any knowledge in obtaining an extended warranty, please advise. Thanks!

Smile questions!

hi,
quick question
do you have the in-service date of the car?
also,
are the navigation DVD's updated?

so you have any other photos of the interior, seats, dash etc?

thank you.

Marc, in-service date is 05/30/06. DVD navigation picked up 2-years ago... I assuming the recall was to get it updated. So not yet. Car also listed here: http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...g=en&cardist=0

RE: Extended Warranty... looks like I have a little over a month to pick up the 'extended warranty'. I called Newport Auto (Porsche) and Walter's in Riverside... both have NO problems selling me an extended warranty with $0 deductible. Walter's would even do it over the telephone without an inspection because it's still under warranty. I don't know why some of the potential buyers had such a problem.
