i don't know if u can get it for 25k with low mileage.
maybe like 28-29k but still would be hard to find one with good options with those mileage.

If you're on that type of budget, I don't think an M3 is that right car to pick up. Sounds like you're stretching yourself pretty thin trying to afford one, and they aren't cheap to maintain and repair.

I've got a buddy with a sweet '03 coupe...black on black...just about every Dinan option you can think of (including exhaust, ECU, etc)...IForged wheels...6 speed...15K miles...probably 15K above what you are looking to spend but the car is top notch...not a flaw...if you are interested, let me know...

New one won't be out until early 08. There are some good deals to be had on older cars right now but I would go with an 03.5 or newer, most of these are not subject to any engine recalls (although a few of the early 03.5s are). Strangely (or maybe not so) the 05/06s values are inflated right now IMO as there is no supply of new cars. I am seeing low mileage 05/06 units listed at near sticker, which was not the case 1 or 2 years ago.

No you can't, production has ended.

If you can afford to up your budget some, it would be in your best interest, IMO. 25K is fetching higher mileage cars that aren't in the best condition.

thanks for all your help guys.

I have decided to go for an '03.5 or newer. i will just wait it out a bit may even have to wait till much later this year to snag one for around 27k or so.
i would like a fully loaded coupe.

i test drove one at a dealer yesterday. was a 03.5 with 35k miles for 40k!! car was in pretty bad shape too with repainted bumpers, lots of scratches dings, hardly any options and a shoddy interior

For a fully loaded 03 or newer, I doubt it will be under 30k any time soon. I have an 02 and wouldn't take under 28k for a while...and I have @ 60k. Plus, with miles on the car, it always takes some $$ tweaking things...

I wish you luck on your search, but I think your idea of where prices are going is a little off.

You'll be able to do it or very close to it. You can pick up 03.5 cars now around $32-$33k. Wait for the heart of winter and you'll be golden.
