Reason: SOLD
Most of the work is in the prep. My car wasn't too bad as the old seal was only hanging on by a thread so came off pretty cleanly.
Installation is pretty straight forward, however if you do get the alignment slightly wrong when installing its not a problem (seal needs to be fully seated to align with the front window), you can remove the seal, clean-up and go again without damaging the seal, even if the adhesive has fully cured. (Ask me how I know!).
This seal gets you ~99% of the way to the original seal, however there are a couple of very very minor differences. Will send you a message so I can forward you the full install guide, inc photos etc
Can you send me the install guide, etc? I am interested in this as well.
Myself I ordered 3 dif ones on eBay but for a total of 30e max. if you cut a part of the seal picture it and send it by email to one of these seller i am sure they can hook you up.

If you can send me your email I will forward you the guide. You will be able to see how this one is a better fit as it has been design specifically for the car.
I want to try to re-adhere the one that is loose. Going by a body shop for their opinion first or if they want to do it.
If your seal is just loose and not in chunks then definitely have it re bonded.
Mine was both loose and had chunks missing!
Edit: FYI I tested quite a few adhesives, the best I found is Bostik Simson ISR 70-03 (Black). I used it with Prep M primer (as I had it to hand), however the Prep M seemed to make very little difference in testing so you could skip this step.
Ideally you need to replicate the K shape of the original as this is what ensures a tight and uniform seal at speed. It kind of pulls the lip of the seal into the window face as the window closes.
Definitely on the high side when you view it as just a piece of rubber, The price will be to do the fact that tooling and developments costs will have been spread over a small number of cars, (There are only a few thousand Rapdies, and only a small propotion of those will need replacement seals). I doubt the price would be significantly different if Aston sold it... they already resell us owners Volvo and Ford parts with a significant markup compared to Volvo and Ford dealers... let alone Rock Auto prices! This solution sits in-between having to buy and install a whole new window and using a generic profile. Id say the solution sits much closer to the Aston part compared to a generic profile, but sits closer price wise to a generic profile (relative to the cost of new window). Owning a V12 Aston was never going to the economical choice.

Its good to find the right one but the price is super stiff, if aston were to sell this seal apart from window it be much less that what you ask.

M100AM, I understand sorry. its a 380 deal for both windows.
can you show the k shape of yours?
The profile shape is identical to the original, the only design changes are to the face which bonds to the window. This face was modified for practicality reasons.
Preparation: The original profile is fitted to brand new glass with absolutely no imperfections (eg old adhesive etc), the original bonding process uses a very fast curing (and very thin layer) adhesive using jigs for alignment. This replacement seal has a higher tolerance for surface imperfections and as noted below this also allows a thicker central channel of adhesive compared to the original
Adhesive selection: Thickness and cure time. Original adhesive has a very short cure time and is requires a relatively thin and controlled amount of adhesive. Such an adhesive is impractical for use with out jigs and can be expensive and difficult to buy. The revised face on this replacement is shaped to use readily available slower curing adhesives (minutes/hours instead of seconds). The majority of the readily available automotive grade adhesives suitable for bonding glass and EPDM require a minimum thickness of adhesive, if they are too thin the bond strength reduces. The modified face of this replacement allows for a viable amount of adhesive to be used whilst still fitting flush with the glass. These thicker adhesives also provide sufficient cure time to enable the seal to be aligned by hand and also allows for minor alignment adjustments if necessary (eg if you windows are not perfectly aligned).
As per forum rules, this listing is for one seal only. Seal was manufactured and shipped from New Zealand for those who may have to pay import tariffs.
I finally saw it installed and I don't like it. It seems it's too small on PH someone posted the result and we can see the porous surface of the window all along the seal. I found the original so I m not interested in these thank you
There is 2 sellers listing it on eBay upon visiting their page I received an offer for one original at 156. That will probably fits better than what I ve seen from aftermarket ones.

For clarity for other interested buyers I have fitted one of these seals to my car and can confirm from measurements taken by myself that there are within 0.5mm of the originals.
