Smile cost for extended warranty on used cgt?

anyone know the cost for extended warranty on used cgt?

a lot of the dealers that i spoke to said that it is too expensive to be worthwhile but i figure the cost of repairs would be more costly.

what does you guys think?

thnx

aftermarket vs official bentley extended warrantys

i know bentley offers an "official" limited extended warranty but...

your car has to be currently under the existing manufacturers warranty (less than 3 years) or have been under a CPO certified preowned warranty from an official bentley dealer

1year was about 4k, 2years about 6k both unlimited miles

they differ from original manufacturers warranty by only covering the major components (no minor trim details, no free oil services)

the qualifications are tough for those existing 05 bentleys being traded but not through official dealers... bentleys under warranty still or have extended warranties already command a much higher price since it is impossible to qualify an 05 unless you are an official bentley dealer

is it worth it? sure ill pay 6k for unlimited mileage 2 year peace of mind

i am unaware of any other aftermarket warranties that cover bentley

ive only had minor stuff

third brake light and oil filter recall
floor mat place holders popping out of the floor
thats about it

nothing mechanical or electrical (you do know it is based off the pinnacle of Volkswagen engineering i.e. the Phaeton)

if you get in and out of the car alot to play with stuff but never turn it on, there is a tendancy for the main screen display to turn on and stay on which will drain the battery in a few days if you don't notice it and never drive it in those days... so always alarm lock it to put the car to sleep

06 Mulliner GT
tempest silver, porpoise leather, piano black veneer, 20" mulliner rims, valet key, wood steering wheel, plush matts

27k highway miles and original warranty till 5-31-09

interested?

i actually don't mind it being based off the Phaeton once you realize what the Phaeton really is... VW's best answer to a supercar. The engineering involved to develop it is quite remarkable... i don't think the Brits had it in them

Just extended the factory warranty on my 06 Flying Spur. Paid around $3k (round figure after exchange rate) for a 1 year, unlimited mileage, factory warranty.
