Thumbs down Bentley cheating

I have a 2009 Bentley GT, bought from Vienna. And I have constant problems with it!
When I was taking it last summer I wanted it to be white. They cheated on me and repainted a red car, and gave it to me white! Due to this repainting i have problems opening the boot, closing the rear windows, heating the rear window and so on..
And now, on top of it .... there are some red spots on the white paint - the white paint is falling!!! This is just .. rude!!
Is there somebody with a similar problem? Share your experience!
I contacted some lawyers and they are working on the case. For me this is totally unacceptable!

Well, would you trust them to re-paint it again.

I suggest taking it to a good shop and have them re-paint it right: they will remove the old white pain and the top layers of the red and do the painting correctly this time.. Might cost you a bit but it will be done right.

Are you, how do you say, "pulling our leg"?

I cannot believe any dealer is going to repaint an almost new Bentley GT, to a customer colour choice (red to white), just to get a sale.

Any pictures of the paint job?

Wow. Repaint it? No. If I were in you shoes. I would make them give you your money back and order one from somewhere else. That IS unexceptable.

Im having a hard time contemplating this one. I have never heard of any car manufacturer doing this let alone Bently. Then again crazier things have happened. Do you have pics by any chance ?

New cars in the manufacturer's possession that are damaged prior to delivery can be repaired without disclosure. However, there's a limit to the amount of repair work (varies by State, for example, in NJ where many mfr cars come in, it's below $2K of work, IIRC). Re-painting a quarter panel that gets scratched during shipping is a far cry from re-painting an entire car, though. And, I don't think re-painting to meet a customer's demand for a different color car would satisfy this law, either. Now, this is US consumer protection law, so what flies in Vienna may be entirely different. That said, I think it's VERY curious that they would re-paint a red car white just for you. Odd, indeed. And, clearly, the job was not done satisfactorily. I would certainly be discussing this with the dealer, and put a call into my attorney, too.

Repainting a car like that is a big no-no

That's nuts
I've never heard of such a thing but dealers tend to push the limits of professionalism

Hi,

i would take this up directly with the factory in England. Send them photos of the car, the VIN number, etc. As have done business in Vienna, and if what you say is true, am not surprised that perhaps the Vienna dealer repainted it. Again, contact the factory directly.

NOTE: Have never dealt with the Vienna Bentley dealer so they may be 100% honest. Just that a few previous dealings and visit to Vienna has shown me that it is best to avoid such circumstances.

Are you guys really falling for this nonsense? Either he bought the car from "Uzi the used Isreali car dealer" or its a figment of his imagination

Believe it or not ... it is taken directly from Bentley Vienna!! When taking te car, it didn't even cross my mind to check for anything, because the car was brand new! When registering the car with the police, there was difference in the documents of the car and the actual colour!!!! They didn't even put the effort to fix the documents! hahahaha
I will upload few pictures! The car looks like a ladybird ....

Broken image links, plus to get results it may be best to deal with the Bentley factory directly in this matter instead of posting items here.
