Rained like Noah's flood here and still wet and overcast. I had the car all show ready for a local show in Knoxville and it sprinkled on the way down, but I got out of the area just before the big mess.

I walked ove to a guy that just drove up in a nice Mustang 5.0 with a Rouse exhaust and commented on the impending weather. He looked at me and said I can't believe some one has a THAT CAR out in this weather. He had just motioned over to my car. I said yeh I'm not to smart, then confirmed that it was my car.

ADDED Feb 18, 2014: Last week she went in for service and the slow acceleration was probably because of false air getting into the GTC engine due to a cracked air hose at the rear of the engine. They found it during a smoke test. For servicing, the engine needed to be removed. FYI: The engine's electronic sensor(s) allow for some false air leaking without 'throwing a warning light'. Some other bits such as upper front suspension bushings needed replacing. After this servicing (plus normal annual service) she FINALLY feels like, to perhaps better than, the previous 2006 GT in engine power.

 

Great news to be running strong.

 

You old farts are still on here! I was at Cars and Coffee in Irvine with your high end car stereo boys from Newport Beach. Cool cats yeah pay attention to those intercooler turbo hoses, they can go. When you changed them you indeed feel like another 10hp . Hi Doc! Got any any frivolous lawsuits on bad dental work yet?

 

I was thinking about you the other day and had wondered where you had gone. I know interests wane on these boards and some come and go is normal. I am good and no lawsuits at all. I kiss azz everyday and work real hard to keep the peace.

 

Just had to re-engineered everything those Texas boys screwed up on my car. We are good now. She is fast. Waiting on a remap from GMG Racing. Was in a negative train of thought for a bit. Man Tom was right about those Delta V Technologies boys. Garbage work. I am suing them now.
