Does anybody have a fix? Comes and goes, sometimes I have to shut car off and restart

Only CD player gets static , radio perfect,

Any ideas?

In using burnt disc made into music discs

 

Bad CD burn/rip? Maybe a CD lens cleaner???

 

nah i doubt it because it comes and goes, its like a static like a power line is rubbing on something or interference, worse case i just put my ipod adaptor in and remove cd player, also i have gotten a high loud pitch noice when i start the car, thru the speakers, very rare only couple times,

not sure what it can be, i looked thru the original owners service records and he complained about it when he first got the car, guess they could never find the problem.

 

Figured it out

I got a pack of 50 blank crds, no name cheap brand, that's what it was
I used a verbatim cdr and it worked perfect

So brand of cdr does make a difference in the cd changer
