GT total numbers ever built?
GT total numbers ever built?
Does any one know the break down of the numbers of GT and GTC's produced since 2004?
Are we talking telephone numbers or low production figures ?
Thanks,
Frank

Thanks a lot
So quite a few then , the white car in my AVATAR is my Escort RS Cosworth homologation special, they only made 2500 of them from 1992 -1994 then a further 4000 non homologation cars up to 1996.
its interesting to find quite so many top end cars built. I had thought the figure would have been a mere couple of thousand per year? I suppose its why they have became more affordable due to shear numbers of second hand examples on the market.

That's still not that many for worldwide. The Escort Cosworth was just out when I left the UK to come here. I think it was almost uninsurable at the time! I did like the RS500 and the Sierra Cosworth also and look around from time to time to see if I can pick one up to leave there.
The Bentley GT is a bit like the Lamborghini Gallardo in that I think it was there way of getting the cars to the masses as previously the low production no's always kept the prices sky high.
Good luck in your search for a GT. I have a friend, also in Scotland who is looking to get one and he is not having much success in finding a gem at a decent price.
Keith.

Generally speaking, the fewer of ANYTHING you make the higher the price to recoup development/R&D investments. Also, parts may be more $$$ per se as smaller batches are manufactured rather than a 'big run' of them.

There are over 190 on sale in the uK at the moment, ranging from 26k to over 100k year dependant. I'm looking specially for a Dark Silver/Grey with light leather but black would do. It must be under £32 BPS and have a mileage of between 20k and 60k. Any less for a 2004/2005 car means it hasn't been driven enough.
So as you say its a tall order finding just the right one.

If you do find any decent one that you are not interested in then please let me know. He is looking at the same sort of parameters, not too fussy on colors as long as nothing funky.
There are some hideous combos over here. He wall looking at Beluga /Beluga and it must have Mulliner spec. A lot of dealers are trying to pass of non Mulliners as Mulliners.
It is funny here, there are a lot of very low mile GT's here as well as other Marques, and God forbid you take a single digit mile car over 10k. I nearly got crucified taking one of my Gallardo Spiders over this mileage on trade in!
