Does this come up as failed on the VCDS? Left mine in Andorra but my indi here will be able to check.

 

I‘ve ordered a VCDS cable as I have a few other electrical issues I want sorting. Cable not received yet but will do a full scan and update you as soon as received.

In the meantime, I’ll continue searching for the harness so I can do some tests with a multimeter.

So how did you know your sensor was needing replaced was maybe more my question. Sorry maybe wrong poster....lol

Car presented a CEL an hour into my drive home after picking it up. Scanned using my iCarsoft MB II scanner that I use for my Mercedes using the generic OBD function. Found P0141 Oxygen sensor heater circuit bank 1 sensor 2. Cleared the code and continued 3 hour journey home without CEL reappearing. However, it reappeared again 2 days later halfway into a 30 min journey.

So the only diagnostics I have done so far is using generic obd scan. I would like to measure resistance and voltage across the sensor terminals and perform VCDS scan once cable received.

I didn't pass the emissions test, the CO values were too high. The OBD scan shows a faulty Bank 1 pre-cat sensor.

Is it possible to get to the bank 1 per cat sensor from the wheel on a left hand drive car?
