Remapping

Who has had a remap and what power did you achieve?

Any issues with clutches etc ?

I'm considering mapping mine but don't know who to take it to

We have quite a bit of experience with the Bentley platform, including with our own in-house Continental GT.

The V8 & W12's pick up substantial horsepower/torque with a tune (bench flash). We have extracted an additional 68whp/121ft-lbs on the W12 and 85whp/125ft-lbs on the V8 applications with major improvements in throttle response and overall driveability.

We are running 10% off with free Domestic shipping through the end of the week if you'd like to take advantage.

Click here for our full Bentley line.

Let me know if you have any questions - I'd be happy to help.

Pretty straightforward - usually under the cowl and held in place with small Allen screws.

Guys keep in mind I am rookie to bentley ownership and have no idea what a scuttle panel is or cowl for that matter.... haha.

Can you speak english please? haha

Mind you i am a car fanatic. My other rides are a 750 NA Dodge Viper built for road racing, a Range Rover sport supercharged and a Harley Vrod!

The piece of plastic between the windscreen and the bonnet. You have to remove the wipers to remove this. It's advisable you remove this anyway to clear the area of dead leaves

I expected to see a bigger increase in numbers I've been quoted 680bhp possibly 700+ with decats

So I'm booked in for a custom centre section to remove the cats

Did you end up doing this? I've just picked up my GT and am looking at tuning options.

I had it done yesterday! It's now running 680bhp 900nm. The performance change is unreal. Very noticeable step change I'll do some timed runs but I think 0-60 is well into the 3s

Did you end up doing the Fabspeed tune and downpipes? I have an Audi S8+ also that has the same 4L V8 engine and did a tune+DPs and got huge power gains so I would expect quite similar results. I'm going to speak to APR and see if they still do their Bentley tune as I'm only 70 miles or so from their headquarters, if not I will likely go the Fabspeed route. Thanks!

No I have had the centre boxes cut out and I may have the cats cut out but I'm undecided.

Mines a W12.

Forgive the idiot question, but are you talking about removing the central mufflers?
and with regards to removing the catalytic converters, does this change computer readings for your O2 sensors? or is it straightforward to just delete the cats?
