Bentley GT wheel center B plastic

Had my tires changed and for the life of me, I cannot install the center B round caps in the wheel. These are plastic letter B disks with 4 prongs on back. I am having a tough time installing these. Is there an easy way to accomplish this?

Thanks in advance,

Remy

Center cap

Scroll past the rim assembly

I have to do it also....for some reason my front passenger keeps popping out. Once you get it on/in, put a dap of silicone on each of the tabs from the back (I'm getting my wheels balanced do I'll do it then)

Hello TeamJones,
Just an FYI, that video does not depict the 04, 05, 06, etc. wheels, nor is it the same center cap, that is a much newer wheel/cap setup in the video you have posted.
I will post from my phone in a few minutes the pictures of the cap that Remy has.

Hello Remy,
If you look closely at the 4 prongs, you will notice that one of them is smaller, (shown by my thumb), that smaller prong lines up with the smaller receiving hole in the center wheel piece, (shown by pen), just be sure to put the two bolts in first to hold center piece on.

Also would you please come back and update some of your thread as to their outcome, like wheel locks, brake light switch, did the radio ***** work as they should have ?

i had to crazy glue my caps to stay in. Kept losing them on highways with big potholes I was giving ebay people good business buying B center caps every season. The answers above are solid, just need to shimmy and align the slots.

Sorry for late replies, could not get my password to work on the site !

Problem with cap was that the center metal ring that goes on the wheel was bent, have to get another one that matches the rim.

Re the wheel locks... I went online and bought a VW kit of 17 different wheel locks. Cost about $70 and one worked. Much cheaper than going to the dealer.

Brake light started working on its own, the radio **** worked fine. Thanks for that. Now I have an issue where car says “stop, car too low”. The left side of the car is very low and looks like the tire would hit the bumper and side if I turn the wheel, but when I start the car, it seems to pump itself up and it stays fine, but when I turn the car off, the left wheel side seems to get lower within a few minutes. Taking it to the mechanic tomorrow. Hopefully not an expensive fix, although I had 2 new front air suspensions done 2 years ago.

Brace yourself for an expensive repair on the "car too too low" problem. That sounds like an airshock has gone bad with a big leak since it goes low again in a few minutes. You can repair just that one corner, but if the other side hasn't been replaced, the other side may be of a similar vintage and hence similar condition. You should ask your mechanic to check for a slow leak on the "good" side - usually a spray bottle with soapy water can do the test. Otherwise just keep observing the other side if it sinks overnight or over a few days of non-use.

Not sure if other CGT/GTC/FS owners have noticed this, but wow I realized one of my shocks had gone bad with a slow leak was when I unlocked the car in the morning, don't insert key, and just lock it back right away, I noticed that the pump would engage to raise it up if it had sank overnight. It's more noticeable this way as you're standing outside the vehicle rather than inside with ignition on which for some reason takes a lot longer to raise the vehicle and hence slow leaks would go unnoticed.
