Interior light functions

Hello from Switzerland

Really nice forum here, got many tips from this page and now I got a specific question too...

I own a 2009 Flying Spur with picnic tables in the back and the make-up-mirrors with light but I managed that these lights do not work after cleaning the whole car. I must have pushed light buttons in the headliner and now the configuration is gone or I don't now, no light when I open up the mirrors in the back. Or is there a special button just for the light in the tables? (table not out on the picture )

Thank you very much for the help and have a nice day

Richi

Hola Welcome
Did you clean the inside of the car with liquid spray, if so it sounds like moisture has seeped into one of the contacts & blown a fuse, Im not sure which fuse but the fusebox is located under the steering wheel. I'll have a look which fuse it is & came back to you.

Hi

No, no liquid was used, just dusting off and pressed the light switches and I think as the rear und the front lights can be turned off/on seperately I changed something. But I tried about 100 different combinations, still nothing working, all other lightings are working. Also in the footwell, the door handles etc. Just the mirror ones are staying dark.

Thank you! I forwarded the info to the mechanic as the car gets the annual service anyway these days and summer wheels too.

Fuse(s) are all fine, still no light so it has to be something with the switches on the headliner or in the front...
Have to take some time and then play for hours with the light switches

This doesn't sound to great, so you've done all the checks no error messages and all fuses ok. Looks like you going to have to start dismantling them tables and check the micro switches but then both don't light up so I can't see how both micro switches would fail at the same time. If I'm right you said you had the car valeted then the fault came up, the wiring comes up into the seats for the tables, at a guess you need to look to see if any cables have been pulled, have you checked the feeds to the tables do you have positive or and negative power, Thats what I would do check the power at the tables and work back from there ...
