Bentley purchase general questions

Hoping someone can give me some insight, at this point in time what Year(s) the best “value” /sweet spot for a Bentley GT under 80k ? any year(s) that we’re considered problematic and should automatically disqualify from my searches ? Are they much more than my 09’ 911 to maintain ? Thank you

This is a million dollar question, very different to maintain & costly
Buy a later car 2006 upwards with as low miles as possible, good service history ...

Of course all of this is a matter of opinion. Indeed Mr.. Adams is giving good advice about 06 and forward. I prefer in the context of the question a 2008. Stay away from a convertible. Measure for measure a Porsche is completely different. Parts support for a Bentley can be pricey or confusing or both. Comparing a similar maintenance and mileage wise Porsche compared to a Bentley, the Bentley is going to be more challenging to own.

Go back to some of the older stickies, lots of write-ups on this subject. Look up all posts by costsavingueen.

There are other posts by other people. Suggested costsavigqueen because this was the most recent similar discussion. There are many other discussions involving the purchase of a new to a owner Bentley. One just needs to go back and start doing their homework.

Quite right, once one sees a Bentley they prefer its like love at first sight, its a matter of preference, colour, interior, age, miles & service history ...

Careful with cars from snowy regions that apply copious amounts of road salt.
