You can only replace the ECU's in TWO's, £1,500 each +setup +vat,. I had mine out 6 to 8 times last year only to find i had a broken N75 valve, Easy to get at, but for 4grand Bentley will put them in for free LOL.

Um, looks like an ECU rebuild could be the way to go!

Why do you think your slave ECU is faulty

Got a miss fire on cylinder 8, injector has been changed and wiring checked from ECU to the injector and that's all good.
On looking inside the ECU it looks like it has some historical water damage and it has faulty written on the outside!
The error I'm seeing reported is:
16592 - Injector: Cylinder 8 (N86)
P0208 - 004 - Circuit Malfunction - Intermittent

I replaced the slave engine ECU on my Audi last year with chiptuning slave tools. It was quite a process, but it went smoothly with some patience. First, make sure you have the exact part number for your replacement ECU. Disconnect the battery before starting to avoid any electrical issues. When installing the new ECU, take your time to securely connect all the wiring harnesses. Once installed, you’ll likely need to reprogram or reflash the ECU to match your vehicle’s specifics. For me, it took a couple of hours, but everything worked perfectly afterward.
