Leaving suspension set high?

Hey guys. On my 2012 Conti, is it ok to leave the car for days with the suspension set in high mode? I need to lift it up to go into my garage without scraping.

Cheers

Really good thanks. I need to drop it into Bentley to get that reversing camera checked at some stage, might not be till next year as I very rarely go near the city - especially in the Bentley haha.

Thats the next thing, I don't have a scanner so Ill need to take it into Bentley. Can't find any physical problems, everything is plugged in and connected as far as I can see.

Oooo, can you link that? I can only see $500+ units. That might be handy, especially if it works on my Jag too.

I,ll go the other way and suggest long term usage in high is potentially detrimental, and go further to say stay out of it if you can .
Heres the rational
From first principles it’s gonna take more pressure to lift .
This means extended pump running times over standard height settings - pumps have a finite run time like any motor system.
Higher pressures in the system ........which will find the weakest link so to speak .A weak link otherwise not visible in normal mode will likely surface sooner .
Longer range of movements if running in higher mode ( this is not the OPs issue as he’s parking only in H ) .
Theses longer ranges of movement of the suspension components will potentially exacerbate bush wear and crucially air bag flexing .
Additional bag range of movement will exacerbate bag stress on any weak points , creases in the bags = splits .
Parking in H mode for longer periods , the OPs suggested mode could possibly prematurely wear suspension bushes , the rubber age hardens with time and loses flexibility = leads to tears easier .

New car under 3 years warranty......go ahead .
Old car .......7/ .10 yrs +++ adopt a “nurse it “ attitude.

I will put the strut at lower setting when u park it..
because it will lower the air suspension pressure in the strut..
the higher it go.. the faster the strut went out..
