Can i just say thanks, my Continental 2007 wouldn't start, so found this forum and read the whole thread for help and advise. I fitted new batteries when i bought it two weeks ago, but today it wont start, good power to lights and dash, but wont turn over.
It turns out the positive terminal on the small start right side battery was a little loose, as i went to put jump leads on it i noticed, so wiggled it and it started, done it up now and an easy free repair. Just wanted to share it in case it helps anyone else. Nigel.
Hi everyone, my Bentley was running awesome right up until I managed to brick my master ecu while flashing a stage one map into it. I have managed to repair my ecu so I am back up and running, but now I have a couple of virgin 2006 GT speed 450KW ecu's I bought just in case. I got them pretty cheap. My question is...does anybody know if i can put these into my car and, using my cars pin number, adapt them to the car using VCDS? The software number is the same, just the two letter suffix at the end of the number is different for each.
Will these ecu's give me the 450kw gt speed performance. Does anyone know?
Cheers.
Hello Paul . same issue here also , Bentley Gt 2004 wont start and the ignition fault is active? how you programming the kessy? you just swap the epprom?
I had flat battery on two occasions and found out it was the DVD unit in the boot that was draining it. Fine after disconnecting it.
Its a 2010 W12 Flying spur
My Bentley got wet during a heavy rain and won't start. The battery became dead and I just changed the main battery. Car still won't start, message on the dash board says "system fault" take to a dealer. Key is stuck in the ignition and won't come out. The ignition is trying to turn but not start.

update everyone. The car is now fixed and running very well. The Kessy was replaced - cost me around GBP£250. The window controls on drivers door were also f*+ked. Replaced this with one from a Toureg (thanks Matt!!) - cost me around GBP£60.00. Paid GBP£570.00 for labour.............. so all in the repair was around GBP£900.00. I think this was good value as the car has been off the road since November last year. Just took it our and it's like a flying machine again. Going to keep it inside and covered up from now on. Also, invested in a trickle charger because I've learned that the electrics on these are a fu*king nightmare when they go wrong.
Forgot to say. I had the car fully serviced. All filters etc. Changed the plugs aswell. This cost me GBP£600.00. I would be interested to find out what people are paying for servicing. Thanks Paul.

As far as your problem, are we talking a GT, GTC, or a Flying Spur ?
Please elaborate on what get wet, are the cowl drains clogged, therefore flooding the twin ecu's, did you get water on the floor, carpets wet on top or possibly bottom, as the KESSY module is located under the carpet on the drivers (LHD) side floorboard.
Does the Instrument cluster power up as it should ?

2007 Bentley Flying Spur. The water came into the car from under the car. The floor carpets were wet on top and bottom. I vacuumed the water and dried the carpet. Please help.

@Joey1021 ,
Ok, did you tell the Bentley dealership of the water problem, as if they knew of the water they should be checking out the KESSY module, but you have not mentioned that, so please tell us.
You say you vacuumed the water and dried the carpet, did you remove the side kick plate and door jamb sill to lift the carpet a bit to get to water under the carpet out, also while in there you would have seen the KESSY module and a black plastic box that hold 4 circuit breakers for the windows..
So please give more details on what has been done.
Also, please share your location, as one of us may help you in person if close by..
