Compressor problem

Morning all
Came out to my Flying spur this morning to find her sitting on the tires. On further inspection the 40amp air suspension compressor fuse had blown. Replaced to fuse and the compressor came back to life but the car is still sitting on its wheels and will not raise to normal.. any pointers greatly appreciated

Mike

Hello Mike,
You most likely have a leak in one of the struts.
Did either side front or rear recently show any sagging ?

As to the 40 amp fuse blowing, that is because the compressor got overworked by the leak, so before you burn out the compressor, find the leak, you should also replace the compressor relay as it too can get overheated and burnt, and at some point fuse together not allowing the compressor to shut off, then popping the fuse.

Hi Johnny
Thanks for your reply.
The car has shown no signs of leaking. I replaced the fuse and relay, the pump i can hear working but still the car wont raise of the tires..I have a good look around for leaks and can't find any.

Having sprayed the struts with soapy water to check for leaks I can confirm they're not leaking
