As I mentioned, the car has only 8000 mi. All service records present and repairs completed at the original Bentley dealership. The current owner states that he will take care of all the needed repairs except bumper repair for $900. I am going to move forward with the puchase. I welcome any feedback, suggestions or thoughts. Thanks.
As long as they don’t go up in price after the repairs I guess your good to go. I don’t have a convertible so you’ll have to look around on the board to see about how long the tops last. See if they had any updated parts for the top. The alarm horn...I paid $35 on ebay when I thought mines was fried till I figured out from here that it could have just been silented (it doesn’t beep when I arm it but the panic works). No mention of the vacuum lines over the trans? See if they have been done already or if your purchasing a car that had them rerouted.
As always, post a few pictures when you take delivery. I’m sure the board would love to see her.
When you say triangle piece do you mean the windshield washer holes?
If so that is an easy fix that will probably cost you a lot less. The covers are about 100 each and you can find a body shop to paint / install for around 100-200
No, it's actually a piece off of the fender above the front right wheel. It looks like it may have caused by a rock or something hitting it. It is definitely a bodywork type of job.
Thanks. The seller agreed to make repairs and keep the same purchase price. I'll check on the vacuum lines. I'll definitely send pics when I get it hopefully this week. Thanks again for the advice.
When you say “triangle” piece, are you talking about this corner piece? I found it odd that when I first got mines and I was going over it I seen a mark there and when I tried to touch it, that corner piece just crumbled off. I thought maybe it had some work done and they never reported it. I mean with no force..just touching it to see what it was, it broke right off.

I didn’t have it repaired as it was kinda trivial to me. It didn’t set off my OCD so I left it. But months later someone (and I don’t know how because I park away from others) backed into me and cracked my bumper. Then months after that I hit something and totally destroyed it and that’s when I had it swapped out for a Speed bumper. Bumper, paint and install (with a few other Knick knack) was around $5000 total.
If the struts did fail it wasn’t on my watch. I was actually doing the entire front end job except for the sway bar when I took this picture. The chipped bumper was a yr before this, literally a few days after the shipper dropped it off.
