Thanks for the pics!

(Making me hungry)

I noticed that there was condensation on the inside of the fuse box lid on my car, so I have been airing it and fitted a rubber sheet to go over the top of the connectors that sit above the lid. Trouble with 'sealed' enclosures is that the tiniest air leak will suck water that's sitting about as the air expands and contracts inside and the enclosure pumps itself full of water over time...

Back onto the mystery connector, this pic shows the three connectors going into the aircon blower and the mystery one:

Snap
On 2004 UK spec launch model.

Where I found it dangling

Pulled it up to photograph it better

Water flow pumps are properly connected and the HCAC works as it should .

Thats it. Yes.

So WTF is it?

I couldn't find it on IETIS. I searched for the Orange/white or Orange/slate cable colour.

Seems odd to leave the connector exposed without a blanking cover.

I’ve been following you guys to see what you come up with.

Does the Speed Edition or any of those other special editions have anything special that our cars don’t have under the hood? Do they use the same wire loom?

Does the VW Phaeton use the same loom?
