Side mirrors.

I guess with this lock down we are now finding things or able to start working on known issues each of us have with these cars.

I need some info/help with one. When I adjust my left mirror, it also moves the right one. But the right one moves on its own. Is this something that was coded? I know whom ever have the car before me had a lot of aftermarket audio stuff done that I ripped out as soon as the car was delivered. Maybe a new switch perhaps? This is something that has bothered me since I had it and I need to sort it out ASAP.

Johnny Hotspur GT, you wouldn’t happen to have a switch for sell would you??

Hello @TeamJones1962 ,
Sorry but, I have already donated the mirror switch to a member here, as it was at the water line so I gave it away, it turned out to work just fine.
Now as to your situation, even though I have no engine or trans in yet, my interior is 94% +/- complete, and my mirrors do the exact same thing, it is very strange, I have double and triple checked the switch and all wiring, I thought I had an issue because I kept the 2005 mirrors on the doors with the 2007 wiring harness, but now thanks to you, I know that is not the issue, I will look into it further.

Johnny

Hot dang!!!! I helped Johnny with a issue!!! Lol j/k

Yea I just find that “odd” to say the least. Can any other members confirm that if you move the left mirror the right one moves also? It might just be how Crewe did things back then.
