Air Suspension Diagram
Air Suspension Diagram
Hi, I been having troubles with my Continental GT suspension, it does not want to rise after new front air struts, compressor, and valve block, the shop who perform the job is stumped, the ride height sensors are working, but for some reason the front doesn't want to rise, the guy at the shop thinks about a faulty valve since he has already checked the airlines and are in good condition, but at this point, I'm unsure if there are other components in the system that may have a valve.
Does anyone in here have a full diagram of the air suspension?

No fix, the shop replaced a brand new front driver side Arnott airbag which was faulty, the car worked perfectly 2 weeks, then I parked the car 10 days and it dropped again to the floor, AGAIN don't want to rise. I'm really mad about this ****, the car spent 5 months in the shop due to this same issue, I don't have other 5 months more to give to this bull****.
Hello @Jurgeenh Borbon ,
No disrespect, but I suggest that you find a shop that knows what they are doing, is this a Bentley dealership, a Bentley qualified independent, or just a local shop, as 5 months is absurd.
I understand that you say it worked fine for 2 weeks, but what was the failure in the first place, what year GT do you have ?
I know you stated that the height sensors are working, but I never saw you state that the compressor is running or not, or whether the mechanic checked the suspension control module for any wetness or corrosion, it is located behind rear seat trim panel below to 1/4 glass, if the compressor is running, does it send air to the reservoir tank and or the rear struts, has the shop removed all the air lines at the valve/compressor and feed air into each front strut individually to test each line and verify the the air line and strut actually takes and holds air ?

Hi, thanks for your time, the compressor and the relay are new, the valve block is new, both struts are new, it should be working, but if you turn on the car it only shows ''car too low message'' and the front end never ever no matter what, rise.
Supposedly this shop has experience with foreign and exotic cars, all the way from VW to Ferraris, and I have seen there 7 different Ferraris 2 more Bentleys, some Lambos and many BMW, Audis, and Mercedes, they should know what they're doing.
Tomorrow I will take the time to drive 4 hours away to go and pick up my car and fix it myself or look for some other place to fix it. This is absolutely ridiculous I think I have been more patient than enough.

I agree that you have been more than patient, ask them if they ever checked the suspension control module for wetness or corrosion, do you notice any leaking at the side rear window, when it was working for 2 weeks, how was the weather, was all dry, did you wash the vehicle and then issue stated again ?
What year is it, and it is a GT and not a GTC, correct.
Just trying to get the biggest picture of events.

I did not notice any humidity, the shop guy says he checked the module, at this point, I'm really thinking he is lying and he didn't even touch the car after he installed all the suspension parts I sent.
A month ago I was calling him pretty much all days in order to get a response in regards to the car, finally, he took the time to check it again and found that the driver side Arnott strut failed, a brand new strut with 1, ONE mile, I quickly send a new one, he installed the part and voila, he calls me and said that the vehicle was working fine now, I drove 4 hours to his shop, picked up my car and got it parked at my garage in the same city as the shop, one week later I went to drive it and the car was still up, perfect, next weekend it was on the ground again.

I have read some post that I may have to read the codes and erase them so I can get the suspension out of ''limp home mode'', maybe that's one of the reasons the car doesn't rise.
Is this true? this can really happen?
My Mercedes CLS suspension failed and I fixed in two day's including recalibration, I replaced same suspension parts like the ones in my Bentley.
No problems whatsoever.

I already make it work with my Autel scanner, now I have to get a quality pair of front struts and turn back those Arnotts, they're junk. Any recommendation for quality front struts for my Bentley?

... in which case you and I had both better stop cutting and pasting screen grabs from IETIS to help other people.
I've deleted all previous such posts of mine, and respectfully suggest that you do likewise.
I assume your version of IETIS is licensed, just like mine, is it?
Oh, and by the way, the word is "copyright".

If you want to pick on spelling, then you can address your complaint to our Administrator, as I just copied and pasted what he wrote to me.
As far as my version of ODIS and IETIS, I sure hope that is is a legitimate package, I paid $2700 plus USD for it.
No need to get your nose out of joint, just don't discuss software using the word cracked, cloned, etc. you get the point, as some site sponsored vendors may take issue.
Also, as far as the self help studies that I see you have now deleted, I do not see a problem with them at all, as they are available for download free with any Google search, so I do not see a problem sharing the results of a search that anyone could do themselves, you are correct, we are just helping them to the free information that is already available.
Thank you.

) When replacing the strust a too low message can pop up UNLESS the car is part way jacked up when recomissioning the system, being fully deflated can cause this error to protect the car. Doesn't always happen but apparently lifting the car at the front (in this case) could prevent that from happening until the bags have inflated.
Hope this helps someone else;
