Towing

So I’m looking for a trailer to rent to tow my car 2.5 hours soon to Indianapolis and went onto Uhaul’s site and they actually said that their car hauler is not recommended for a Bentley. So I was wondering for those that do tow their cars from time to time, what do you use?

Hi TJ,
I went through the same the first day I picked up my GT, towed the trailer many miles only to find that the GT was wider than the trailer, it wasn't the width from outside of left and right tires, but the body itself on the side rails of the trailer, so I called a flatbed for the for the hour and a half tow to home, it was well worth it, although I did have a F-450 and a lowboy trailer, it didn't work, on another tow from Montgomery NJ to Hamburg NJ I used my Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland with a U-Hual trailer to tow my son's Audi A6 4.2 wide body for transmission repair at Level 10, I gotta say, that was some hairy driving downhill with that Audi A6 on the trailer, best to be safe and pay for some transport.

Just my opinion for your B !

Johnny

Thanks for that insight Johnny...looks like that as the route I have to take. Now I just need to coordinate with the guy who’s doing the job. I know this is going to be about a $400 tow!!!
