Chrome molding strips

I have new molding strips to put on the lower part of the doors and was wondering before I go out here and painfully peel this tape off if anyone have a way to do it?

Try Goo Gone, I will be doing my two moldings this week also, I will try Goo Gone, gasoline, or Goof Off.

I’ll go pick up some today if there’s none in the garage. I hope it works! What brand double side tape are you using Johnny? I noticed how the holes doesn’t correspond with anything on my old pieces, like they wanted to put clips there but didn’t as a cost cutting measure.

@Johnny Hotspur GT ,
I looked at this video today and ordered that decal wheel thing too. Gonna give it a try after they come in later today.

Randy V is infamous around these parts
Heat gun set on low and a sturdy plastic scraper for unpainted areas like yours. Easy.

Otherwise the rotating eraser works a treat.

Thank you @TeamJones1962 for the gift, very much appreciated, I will use it this weekend to remove the old two-way tape.

A trick we used to do in the furniture business to remove stickers and labels is to drench them in olive oil, let soak overnight, and most times they rub right off the next day
