I recently had the CGT in the shop for service. When I got it back the all windows up/down function (by activating one of the rear window switches) was no longer working.
Any ideas on how to reset this?
I've tried activating the function switch on/off with no improvement.
Hello @sazam ,
What @Randy V is talking about is the all windows switch on his 2009 GT, the 2005-06 do not have this button/switch, my NA 2005 GT had the "°Global Close" button where the start button is in the 2006, the 2006 - 07 wiring harness and switches in my GT do not have this all windows button, therefore I no longer have all windows operation by one button on the drivers windows switches, I wonder if my 2006 window switch/door module cam be coded as a 2009 code, but, I have never been able to communicate with the door modules.
Here is my 2006 switch panel without the all window button.
.
Here is a 2009 with all windows button.

@Randy V ,
As Sazam stated, maybe a scan and a recode will solve your issue.
What year is the Bentley, and does it 100% have the all windows button as shown in my prior post with the black interior, or is it like the switch panel shown on my red interior ?
If it does have the option, the only faults I could think would be, 1) check the 5 amp fuse for the global close, it should be the 5th fuse from the left on the 4th row down of the dashboard fuse panel. 2) if the switch panel got wet at some point and corroded the switch/printed circuit, others here have replaced the water damaged board for other items not working properly, such as gas lid release, boot release, or even a window not operational, 3) it may be a coding issue, have you scanned the vehicle ?

One being the global open closure window button, would anyone be able to shed light on possible issue...
It doesn't illuminate neither does it do anything, like the child lock button next to it it does nothing...
All the other window buttons on the panel work as expected...
Vcds shows no issues here so just wondering if anyone has any ideas, seems strange if its faulty but wouldn't be out of the realms.
Look forward to any reaponse
Many thanks in advance

Hey Johnny
Really appreciate you getting back to me it has been a little manic here so I do apologies for my poor time response.
I did however read through and have another look at the car last weekend and i can say the board looks in a reasonably condition but did look to have a few contacts that didnt look great and some white substance across a small part at the top of the board, I have cleaned the board and tried it again but as you'd imagine nothing changes.
I have no errors in VCDS but again that doesn't surprise me either as i have read that not all things appear which is very odd.
This is my first Bentley and i love how it looks and sounds and i am sure it wont be my last. Mine is the 2011/12 face lift version of the car.
I will keep looking and i will try and get a few more of the issues posted across the forum to see if other drivers have experienced anything similar.
In my case, the driver side main switch had failed, resulting in loss of control of the all windows up/down function as well as the boot open and gas cap open switches. A couple of the circuit board traces had been compromised due to water intrusion.
