Hello, I had read that you wanted to keep your car original and I understand it. I keep my original car multimedia system and what was failing me is the power supply of the original Bentley multimedia system. I hope I can help you.

Thanks, something to check for sure. As I do get the Bentley logo the power supply should be OK, but could be weak.
I went out this morning at about 10:00 and the infotainment system worked. I was able to initialize and play SiriusXM sat radio. Shut the car down and restarted and it again worked.
Tried it at about 12:15 and not joy. Tried the reboot, no joy.
As a reminder, this morning was the first time it worked since Saturday morning.
Hello @robob ,
I would like to see the individual scans of each of the following addresses, you can do a full "Auto scan", but I like to go into each unit separately and scan it, then take a screenshot or picture of the information, but either way you choose will work.
As to your vehicle being a GT3-R, you may not have some of the items I listed, so you may see the item "not reachable" message, as I just noticed that you have no rear speakers visible, so no rear mids or tweeters, I would be interested in the fader setting for your vehicle, and how the system sounds, or to be honest, after all the work of adding the NAIM for Bentley system to my GT, I find myself just listening to the engine and exhaust sounds, as you will most likely with the rumblings of that V8 !
All of these items are tied into the Infotainment head unit, so a fault on one can cause faults on others.

Reason: Spelling
The exhaust note IS better than I expected. As others have mentioned, more like an American V8 than any DOHC European machine I have heard. The 4.2 Jag engine in my former 2008 Range Rover was wonderful at full song, but quite different.
I have a temp tag now so will actually drive it tonight or in the morning.
Hello @robob ,
Well...
Let me ask this so that we are all on the same page, when the unit was working for it's brief time frame, did the amplifier function properly giving sound without issue ?
Did you scan with the ignition on, off, or engine running ?
Being that you have the 3W8 035 465C amplifier, I think it not to be the issue, as it is the 8 channel amp, and not the problematic 15 channel NAIM for Bentley amp.
I think that the amp is being non responsive in the scan because the head unit is not fully turning on, and nothing else has faults that should interfere with the functionality of the head unit, I say nothing else should be interfering, but, and I will add, I have never had hands on you gen head unit, but I have worked on 2 or 3 for members here, and 1 guy locally here in Jersey, where all of them had the same issue of frozen screen at the logo, then rebooting over and over, or after so many reboots, the screen went blank, 1 was a lady that had 2 units with the same issue, her original went blank after so many loops, the replacement she purchased just kept rebooting at the logo, her's turned out to be on the replacement unit, it was for a model year newer, and being her one year older GT didn't have the SAT radio, and a different SW version, the unit didn't work, her original unit at some point, she had a rear camera video input placed on to the board inside the head unit, when the camera failed, along with the soldering points from the installer, the unit stuck at the logo and looped over and over, another member had a head unit whereas someone installed a audio video input into the head unit, but when the vehicle was sold at auction, this add-on was cut out, leaving the head unit to fail at the logo, the local man here in Jersey had the rebooting over and over at the logo, I went to his shop and swapped out the navigation disc drive and all was good, BUT, what I had him do first, as I did with all the other units, was to bench test the head unit itself, so I told him to pull the head unit first to test, as all these units failed when installed it the vehicle, but worked fine on the bench, that led to the replacement of the failing Navi drive for my local guy, and the removal of the add-on wiring/ribbon cable and video input for the lady, and the A/V + ribbon cable/module for the auction vehicle, he also had to remove some non usable items that were also somewhat cut out, but still had extra wires going into the head unit harness plug at the rear.
Sorry for the long explanation, but, I have seen where people swap out the head unit as they feel it must be the issue, I am not saying that it is not the issue, but before I would spend a dime on a head unit, I would bench test it, just need 12 volts +/-.
There is also a known issue with your Gen head unit, all the way from 2012, I have heard and read about the SW update for this issue, but some say that the Bentley dealership claims that they never heard of the issue, or know of a SW update, then just telling people that they need a new head unit, of 2 people I have spoke with (whats app) and here, both said the SW update fixed all, but then I never got a response when I asked for a detailed explanation of what the dealership did so I could inform others here, I will try him again now.
