03 - ABS, is experiencing a communication problem, I would discuss the information in 03 with Ross-Tech via phone tech support, or on the Ross-Tech forum.
Will do. BTW, the ABS light was not on during this session.
37 - Navigation - is from the year 2020, and is in reference to the satellite radio not being activated/paid subscription, clear this.
Just curious, didn't the GT3-R come with free lifetime subscription ?
Don't think so, but I have enabled a subscription in the GT3-R.
46 - Central Conv - shows as "Status OK" at the top of the scan at the installed list, yet it has no communication in the actual scan, I would rescan this module individually.46 - Central Conv - shows as "Status OK" at the top of the scan at the installed list, yet it has no communication in the actual scan, I would rescan this module individually.
Will do.
I am waiting on talking to Steve at BoE tomorrow for any updates as to the SW FW update.
When I started the car this time I got only the logo. Could this be temperature related as I have suspected? It is 100 deg in the shade on my driveway where 99 is parked. The times on Tuesday when it took a mile or so to come on were the times that day when the interior was probably the hottest. It did not come back to life during this session. Prior to this session it worked every time I tried it since and including Tuesday.
So I immediately did an autoscan:

@robob ,
Yes, clear all DTC's, DTC = diagnostic trouble code/ AKA, the fault codes.
As to the heat, I would say that I would have to agree that it may play a part, but, on the other hand, these units have had this issue since they came out in 2012, and you are the first that I recall bringing temperature into the issue, as I recall a fellow member having the same issues in Dallas TX from November through February with his 3W0 035 017 Q, and others from colder climate areas.
I will say through, in this last month, my 2010 (1st GEN) 3W0 035 008 J head unit has acted up 2 or 3 times, so, I put a white towel over the black vent grill and draped over the face of the Infotainment head unit, my issue would be during the day when parked in the sun, the heat inside the vehicle was unbearable to ever sit in the vehicle without rolling all the windows done first and letting it air out, I can only imagine how the electronics must feel, and I am in central NJ, my navigation would become non responsive with a "not available" displayed on the Infotainment screen, and or, any push of a button would be delayed drastically, so pressing AC, Audio, Map, etc, would take 45 to 90 seconds or so to respond, turning up the volume by **** or steering wheel control was no issue, but trying to rotate the big center **** to select blower speed, radio stations, suspension settings, etc, was a no go, as it was frozen in place, as it is an motorized/magnet type switch, and being that the head unit was seriously delayed in it's thinking, the **** thought it was at it's stops, if that makes sense.
Being that you now have 37 and 56 not even giving their information or a fault, that of course is not good, which brings to mind the heat, and iirc, did you previously state that a CD or DVD is or was stuck in the disc drive, if so, has it been removed ?
I am not sure on the Bentley, so, do you have the owners manual, can you search to see if the disc drive gets locked to protect the removal of the NAV DVD disc, or any disc, in the 1st GEN the NAV DVD drive resides in the glovebox, so my nav drive was like it was in an oven, the disc took a few tries to release, and it was hot as #&#&, to the point I thought it would warp, I wonder if you do have a disc stuck in the drive, is the extreme heat damaging the disc just enough to cause error in reading, therefore fouling up the boot up of the Infotainment head system itself, as your 2nd GEN head unit not only has the (07) control head, along with the AM-FM tuner (56), it now has (37) Navi, and an HDD, along with what once was a stand alone (1F) SAT radio turner for the 1st GEN, now incorporated into (56) making (56) responsible for AM-FM-SAT, all in the 3W0 035 017 Q, aka 07 - 37 - 56, or it could be the HDD failing just like a PC, therefore fails to boot.

I did get the CD out of the drive this morning when it was working. I don't remember seeing anything about the nav disc in the manual, but I will look.
I will clear the codes in the morning as by the time it cools down tonight I will likely be asleep.
Any idea where the nav disc is in my car? What about the trapdoor in the glovebox?
So the nav disc goes in the normal infotainment slot and gets loaded into the memory of the system. Johnny says there is a hard drive so that is likely were it is stored. Then you eject the DVD. So no nav disk to worry about. Could be bad hard drive.
88 deg. Logo only. Running DTC clear from the OBD2 menu, is that where I should be? Taking many minutes.
Not sure as to the "applications" tab, it should be the "Select" tab on the main screen, as in select each module individually.
No word from Steve yet...
As to the unit having a hard drive, yes it does, that is what I have been told, and a few that sell this repair service, claim that it is not as simple as the RSN 510, whereas a SW update solved the problems, but that your unit is like an RSN 810/850, and therefore needs not only SW service, but hardware inside the unit replaced also, but to me, trying a SW update would be the first step, if we can find the disc...
As these repair services range from $1400 to $3750 online/eBay.
Hello @robob ,
UPDATE.
I just got off the phone with Steve at BoE parts department, and he found in his research and conversations with his service department that there is a "2018 version" of the update disc for the 2015 infotainment head unit, and that the service manager has one in his possession, but it is for the shop, and the service manager did not give Steve the part number for said disc, so Steve apologized for the delay in getting back to me, and said he would go look at the disc himself to get the part number, I can then order it in my name to get my discount and mail it to you, or give you the part number to order at retail, I prefer to order from Steve, as he puts the time and research into finding information and parts through me for members here on occasion.
I will post the part number here for all once I receive it.

Sorry for the long delay in responding, and I wish that I had a definitive answer for you, but...
After so many discussions and misinformation bank and forth between Steve and the service manager, then along with a Tech at BOE, I thought I had it, but the second the price was quoted "$986.33", I knew right then something was wrong, so asked Steve to verify the part number again, but instead of relaying a "WT10340" or the like, he stated "3W0 919 589 CF at $986.33", I then informed Steve that the part number he is referring to is the same exact disc I have in my possession, and it is a navigation maps update disc, not the RNS - MID recovery update disc, so Steve spent Thursday Friday and this morning searching for any superceded part number of the WT10340 or any variant, BUT, he came back with the WT10340 being the last version, the tech was of no help as his comment was that "other owners go for an aftermarket head unit", seriously..., the tech did say that they have tried in the past using the update disc, some times it worked, but other times not, so a factory head replacement would be installed, but, no one would be specific as to what model year vehicle the update disc was used one, and if infact it was the WT10340 disc for North America, the only thing myself and Steve were able to come up with is, that the paperwork shows different versions (prefix letter) of the same part number, those letters being "G & L" with hardware numbers of "H10 & H15", both with a software version of "520", whereas you have a "Q" version of the same head unit part number, with your hardware version being "H23", BUT, your software version is "584", so one step below the software version on this WT10340 disc, but I myself, nor Steve, nor the Tech can or would confirm or advise to this WT10340 disc is just for the prefix G & L / HW 10 or 15 units only, or if it would work on the Q version with HW23 and SW-584, they said that's a chance you will have to take... Not really helpful, but if it were me, I would, eventhough the sw version is just 584 vs 585, the other reason being that WT10340 was released May 1st of 2015, so depending on your build date, I will say, of those who have tried update disc's here, or elsewhere online, no one ever bricked the head unit, the software disc just failed to run, the other issue is, that those whom spoke of it here or elsewhere, they never stated which part number update disc they tried, why, I don't understand...
I ordered the WT-10340 from Steve, and I had him over night it, so a little bit more, so 65 to 75 or thereabouts, so pm me your address if you want me to send it.
