Condensation on interior of windows
Condensation on interior of windows
I have a 2012 ContiGT. Recent cold weather has revealed excessive condensation on the inside of the windows particularly the rear glass which is very wet and the demister does nothing to clear it! Any ideas please my fellow Continental owners? l am working on the window seal being the culprit. Perhaps if you have had the same trouble you could give pointers as to resolving the problem! Thank you in anticipation guys!
I've experienced some misting on the edges of windshield but it clears right away with defrost on HVAC. This is odd as it happened with the old windshield (which I assumed was the culprit) and now with the new one. It was installed by an authorized dealer paying attention to details so leaking seals are very unlikely. The rear demist is incredibly slow to do anything about fogging but it works as eventually it clears in the area you can see the heated leads.
I'm slightly baffled about what's going on. Maybe it's a feature and not a bug, after all...

I live in Sweden and we are experiencing very cold temperatures right now. It was -20 degrees C this morning. I am not driving my Bentley (it is inside my heated garage), but my Mercedes SUV and my Mercedes X-class truck are both experiencing frosted windows daily, both inside and out. The frosted inside is probably due to me stepping into the vehicles with snowy/wet shoes and then not letting it completely dry out. Before the cold weather, did you notice any leakage around the trunk area? Is your Bentley sitting outside in snow & rain?
