Hi. Have just joined in the hope of some advice! Have had a 2004 GT for nearly a year and up till a few weeks ago has been trouble free…the red ignition lock warning came on intermittently but I just waited for it to go off before turning the car off and locking it. A couple of weeks ago it was dead on the drive with no warning - the AA man got in and put a new main battery on it. It started up but somewhat reluctantly with the button and key doing nothing. Now although the locking works, it will not start at all with the same warning coming on and off and a new one saying it isn’t in park. Any advice would be fantastic.
