I would consult your handbook and familiarize your self with the manual closure of the soft top if it jams and goes into a fault mode. I dont have the Convertible model but IIRC there is a special tool in the boot to lower the hood manually. Apparently its a 2 person job. The hood is quite complexed and is prone to fail.
Im in loch Lomond BTW but was born in Chester City Hospital....quite a long time ago now ;(

Thank, I did find the tool you mentioned. Had to Google to find out what it was. Hopefully, I will never have to use.

All fingers are crossed.
the only issue that I think I might have, is a humming coming from the front. I am not a mechanic but, through lots of years of driving, think it could be wheel bearings. Its difficult to find anyone around here to that could be trusted to look at it. The nearest place is, believe it or not, Chester.

Is there a Bentley main agent in Chester.
I know where the Porshe main agent is in Ellesmere Port. Not sure where Bentley is.
Where in North Wales are you?

Hi Pezza and welcome i would have thought your nearest main agent is Manchester Brum or Cannock
With that in mind most able mechs could diagnose wheel bearing probs quite easy no need for main Agent unless you like wasteing money
Im in the Wolvo area at the mo ...off to Spain soon ive had enough of the cold
