2005 Continental no start

After changing failed batteries in a 2005 Continental that had been running well. She’ll crank but not start. She’ll start with starting fluid and the fuel pumps work when jumped to the battery. I’m told the ecu and messy have lost connection. Is there a way to re-establish this with out towing it to a dealer? Thank you!

@Rojbrown59 ,
To be clear here, I know you say it runs with starting fluid, I just want to be sure that the issue isn't that the engine will only run for about 2 seconds, starting fluid or not, as starting and stalling in 2 seconds is the immobilizer, which is the KESSY and or both ECU'S kicking in the immobilizer.

Have you had any key issues ?

Also, your location as to state would help for someone local to help you.

Johnny
