UPDATED PICS ON PAGE 14!!!!

what up everyone,
I just got my car back from platinum motorsport and they did a hell of a job, shout out to everyone there from jack, george, hov, vic, az & even pops.

22" x 9" in the front
22" x 11" in the rear
Agetro F-100's
matte black face and gloss black lip/hoops
H&R's got my car sitting RIGHTEOUS!

I can't install the eisenmann or any other mechanical upgrades until BMW takes out the black box they installed on the 2008's to insure I don't drive this car like I know I will. so about 600 miles left, then I can go ape**** on the car. but since 2006 M5's were 1 of the most lemon lawed cars for BMW they will void my warranty if I don't follow the proper break in procedure.

the pics are terrible, because of the lighting, but man, the car looks amazing in person!

I don't see anything special on your "Platinum M5" besides the black rims which you can't even tell the design of the wheel due to it being so black. You still have on the orange reflectors. LOL

I think with better pics (like you said) it will look dope. I think 22's make this car SCREAM for a body kit/lip kit of some type.....thinkin about that???

wheels look good, but a traditional white spoke chrome lip would have made them look insanely attractive to all tastes. Regardless....A sick looking M

i'm not a 21" type of dude on this ride....
I know the pics can't show the contrast, but it's crazy in person.
I got 22"s on my gallardo even, so there's no way I was gonna do 21"s on this.
I got 24"s on my charger and I woulda put 26"s on my phantom if I kept it longer.


I thought about doing a white lip, but then I have to do white brembo calipers to make it right... I like the all black look.

but it looks clean as is. it's low and it's on 22"s and it's still fast as hell and there's no rubbing issues.

the lighting issues make it hard to see, but it'll be on the platinum website when I have the vorschiener(sp?) front flippers on it and the eisenmann with the black ceramic coating on the tips and the amber reflectors are painted white,
it's still a work in progress.

the wheels look great and I'm usually a chrome guy, I'll show pics of my past cars so you understand what I mean and anyone in LA who see's this in person will understand why it's hard to capture the right light on camera. the matte face and gloss lip do make a difference. I've done all the crazy chrome and the black with red stripe lining before, I wanted it a little more different. plus I've only seen around 6 M5's with 22"s on it properly fit.

btw, the ride is great, I haven't tested the limits of it yet, but trust me, it's early
I got 450 miles on it and once it hits 1,200 miles, I'm going to try to kill this car. lol

I hate weak/squeaky cars.

BUT GOD DAMN, I'M GETTIN 7 MILES PER GALLON.
