Hrm.. looks a bit worn, especially for 50K miles. The peeling leather doesnt look too good, and in the other picture with the door open the silver trim also looks very worn. And I cant imagine how he managed to scrape the front bumper so bad, even when I had my M3 lowered on GC coilovers I never managed to do that. Also alot of curb-rash, it depends on what the reserve is, but that is definitely a pretty used M3.

Check to see if the Inspection 2 has been recently done. I'd request a copy of the Carfax and an independent inspection.

Otherwise, it could be a pretty good deal.

Personally I would hold off on getting an M3 right now. Wait till the new one is out in the states that should definitely get the prices lowered a bit, and I would also hold out until you find one in great condition, there are plenty of them around so I wouldnt rush into it.

I'd also go for an 04 or 05, if you wait another year (8-12 months), the prices should really go in your favor I think.

that M3 looks a little "worn", i personally wouldn't get it unless u get a great deal. too many out there to not be picky at this point. like mentioned above, wait a little bit more... the guys switching up for the newer ones will be desperate to get rid of their E46s and that includes all the dealers taking in trades = u win

Prices have already dropped through the floor on the E46....now is a great time to get one. Go over to M3 forum and there are tons for sale.
