M6: Mufflers Terminated!

3 days ago i saw a video of an M3 and e39M5 with the muffler delete and fell in love with the sound. This morning i woke up with nothing on my agenda and thought I'd get my mufflers chopped out just to have something to do. I was bored, it was fun, and... well... everything turned out great. The mufflers were deleted and i'm still running true dual on each side. The sound is better than i thought it would be. Sounds like E-race but a bit louder. Shifts aren't as hard either. ([tic tac commercial]) "I'd Recommend It".

Update: The answer to this mod is... don't do it. It sounds good at low RPM's but whistles up high a bit. I added resonators to the space where the pipe was and now it sounds like a vacuum at high rpm's, lol. I can't provide sound clips but here's what it looks like.

what exactly did you do? mufflers removed and replaced with pipe? did you do it yourself or have a shop cut and weld? will this affect the warranty? how loud is your car now? I want my M6 a little more aggressive, but still want to hear my stereo and use the phone. Thanks. sound clip?

Nah, they don't. It'll be a custom setup. HKS carbon/ti muffler, X-PIPE, maybe some hi-flow cats if i can get around the CEL. I just love puzzles and with this, one has been created
