Bmw M3 or 335i (vert)
Ive been pondering over this for the last couple of days now... I love the new m3s but i would need it as a daily driver (school) and around my area, a manual wouldnt be the best or smartest idea to make, however, i love power and a great ride in a car id drive...
Any opinions or suggestions on the car to choose? I think im looking at 65k as a max for a car atm.
Any advice/input would be greatly appreciated

You can always try the M3 with the new dct transmission. It supposedly works very well in auto mode compared to the old SMG.
how much are m3 coupes? and should i go for the m3 vert?
as far as an m3, assume its practically fully loaded (with the good stuff) and i need something like an auto "new dct transmission"... so what would i be looking at, are the prices still outrageous on teh m3's

Just got back from dinner in my buddies e92 M3 and it is really a pretty sick car. I drive an e55 daily and owned a 996tt a year or two ago so I'm pretty experienced with nice cars and the M3 is pretty impressive. He has the stick too and it's pretty easy to drive everyday including in traffic. I highly recommend it over the 335 they are just not even in the same league.
I don't think you can get a optioned out M3 for 65k OTD. You might be looking more towards 70's for the goodies, specially if you want DCT. I say if you DEF don't want manual, wait a bit untill the DCT goes into the 335, then flash it and you will have a geat DD. You won't feel the fun of the M3 as a DD.
ok, i can prob swing it out and get a M3, and if i wait till the summer i could get the 650i,the thing is I really dont wanna wait till the summer to get the 650i, so i was looking for a subsitute, :|

I drive a 335i so maybe Im a bit biased. I test drove a new M3 and I hate it. I lover the tq of the 335i from the turbos down low compared to the M3 and my car with its piggyback and exhaust feels faster. The M3 is also suppose to be all about handling but on the road it really doesn't feel any more balanced then my 335i, maybe that would change on the track, but if I want a track car I would buy a Evo (been there done that) or Elise.
335i is the best bang for the $$ in the performance lux market (well maybe the 135i is better but I compare the 135i with the Evo X and new STI).
A nicely modded 335i vert would be sick:

Both bimmers are nice, but if you are thinking of spending $65K, why not find a reasonable mileage, nicely modded '02-'03 Porsche 996tt? Daily driving doesn't get much better than that
Don't get me wrong, i'm a fan of the BMW and drive one daily, but if I could only have one....996tt all day.
