I just sold my E46 M3. The new owner picked it up last Saturday and drove it back to NYC.

It was and is a great car. I will miss it.

I don't feel the car is dated.

The M3 was replaced by an E28 M5 and a Subaru wagon.

I am happy with the change. I have wanted an E28 M5 since before they were made. As superior as the E46 M3 is in every objective category, the old M5 is my choice. It is a true classic.

The E46 m3 will be a classic, but yes it is getting dated, not yet but it is. Every car does eventually, but I still think its one of the best looking cars on the road. Everytime I see my car in the garage or if I see another M3 I def am impressed. Also, I get a lot of looks on my car, and its mostly stock, with OEM BMW wheels!

Looking dated is what older cars will do. But a classic looking car is a car like the E30 //M3, E39 //M5, E46 //M3, E28 //M5, 850. I even like the old E24 //M6.

most of the guys i know who have an e46 m3 (including myself ) has the oem BT module. so there is no need to wear the fashion statement BT earpiece

4.4 0-60...no way...ever, stock at least.
