I've been in love with E46 M3 for years upon years upon years. But now since the new one has been out.

Do you guys think the car is dated?

 

IMO not at all.

I personally think it looks way better then the new m3. ( i may be the only one though)

 

if you call 6 years old dated. I still like it though.

 

Love the e46 M3. So much better looking than the new M3. The new one is disappointing...

Not at all. IMHO, neither is the E36 M3.

 

Not at all. This is the prime time for an E46 M3 IMO especially if you're going to modify it.

I still love the E46 body style.

Never, not even the E30. E92 lies within the category of the type of that car would get outdated. The legends never though.

333HP, 0-60 of 4.4 Seconds. I don't even think the new Generation EVO and STI, and any of those cars will be able to beat that. That's another 4 years this car will be on top on the streets. Keep in mind, the M3 was made in 1999. 1999 Technology and still the best Performance and looks.

 

E46 M3s and E39 M5s FTW!!!

If it wouldn't be for my grad school plans, I'd be driving one of those for sure! Love them to death! If modded right the cars are absolutely amazing
IMO you can't go wrong with nice e46 m3

 

It looks very dated, but so? What makes older models look bad isn't that the design looks old, but that people let them get ratty. My head is still turned by a nice condition E30, and those are generations out of date.

I think E46 M3 is dated especially the interior which is full of cheap painted trims. SMG is also a lousy paddle shift by today's standard.

However, this is not the biggest problem with M3. Big issue that I have with M3 is that they are everywhere... Waaay too mass produced.

Fast car that is practical and solid. Not knock on it but just not my cup of tea.
