c63 vs m3
c63 vs m3
hi,
i originally had decided on the c63 amg, though i quite enjoyed the drive of the m3 with dct, though it lacked torque compared with the c63. I originally discarded the m3 from my selection as it was 87gs compared with the 71gs of the c63 amg.
However, i recieved a call from the bmw dealership today offering me a white m3 coupe with extended fox red, dct, nav, active dampening, m drive, everything from 87gs to 73gs (+tax, pdi included)
the c63 would be about 71gs plus tax
give or take.
as the prices are now nearly comparable, what to do?
the m3 has 1100km is now a demo, 2008
the c63 is brand new 2009.
these are my final choices.
thks again

nope its a coupe but fully loaded...according to the rep at least.
it has:
extended novillo leather
m drive package
executive package
electronic dampening control
sunroof
dct with drivelogic...
essentially base price is 71300, plus 14gs in options 85gs.
take what you like better. im not sure i would want a demo m3 though. you can get nice discounts on the m3s since theyre not selling too well, so see if you can get more off. i would offer 69k or 70k for it.
thats the main thing, i didnt get much time to play around with the c63 wheras i took the m3 for a fairly long test.
shouldnt i be ok with the demo m3 as i have full warranty? i was hesistant, but what could go wrong, the guy said as long as constant revs arent held its fine?

They are both excellent cars, it really just depends on what you are looking for. The M3 offers a better driving experience, as we all saw on top gear. The c63 is more powerful and offers less control.
However, at the end of the day, an M3 is the m3.
