The gains will be over 50 wheel and I'll give you the numbers, don't worry. The E46 M3 had less displacement to work with and people hit 40-50 wheel gains NA. What do I know, I just have both and have modded and dyno'd both.

I wasn't dissapointed vs. a 6 speed manual from a roll, I found it rather embarassing how much faster the DCT was at any speed. Then again, my car isn't stock.

Prove 40-50 NA gains for the E46 M3. That's BS unless you consider heads/cam bolt-ons. Or bore/stroke.

No way in hell will it get that from intake/exhaust/tune. That's what this discussion is regarding.

very true... no way in hell can an E46 gain 40-50 to the ground just on bolt on and tune. E46 M3 is known to be dog slow in N/A form. but they are very balanced and nice looking, one of my favorite.

You just don't you know what you are talking about, there are several that get to the 310 wheel range NA from 270 wheel stock. You can do the math I'm sure. The stroker cars like the BHS hit the 360 wheel range.

Here, an E46 M3 with a tune, exhaust, header, intake, and underdrive pulley:

What was that about BS again? What did you say about no way in hell? I almost get sick of having to set people straight all the time.

Dog slow? What exactly do you drive?

No way in hell? Why do people spread this nonsense? This is the same junk people tell me regarding the S65, that it is impossible to tune and get gains and they post this incorrect junk as fact.

Can you retry - the image didn't load properly. 20% loss seems high as well.

I believe he is talking about drivetrain loss for your claimed stock HP of 270, in the dyno posted it is much closer to 280.

That would not make any sense, 280 wheel is 15% loss. 20% is 265 wheel.

Hey 8speed what's up?

You know that dragtimes list posted of the C63's running high to mid 11's, well maybe a little investigation would be in order.
I have a suspicion that those top cars are running nitrous? If it matters to you.
The owner of the top C63 had said on another forum that he was working on a system.
I do not know for sure but just a heads up.
btw if they are running nitrous their trap speeds suck. Should be in the mid 120's.
My M5 on nitrous has trapped as high as 129 for now .
