I have a customer who knows the owner of the car. He is supposed to be a cool guy. I saw him on TV and he seemed very coc*ky.

 

^While I've never met Alex Roy, he comes off as a cool guy in both his book and his tv appearances.

For those that haven't read The Driver, it's definitely worth checking out. It covers his entertaining shenanigans during the Gumball events he's attended and also covers his record setting run from New York to California.

That car has some very impressive stealth mods.

Alex Roy is a nut!
Saw his car at Bimmerfest 2010 and it was like a computer on wheels!

 

Alex Roy is a very cool guy but very nice too. A few years back (07) I was on a run with a few other friends (M3s/Porsches) and ran into him on a whim at a gas station in a small town (rural). None of us could believe the car was there and as we pulled in we see him walking out. He looked at us like what the hell are all these nice cars doing in the middle of nowhere lol. Anyway we just started talking to him and he was very nice. We were all impressed with all the equipment inside and he just started showing us everything. Very cool random moment.
